What We Believe

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God. (2 Tim 3:16)

We believe that there is only One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:7)

We believe Salvation has been provided through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for all who choose to put their faith in Him. (John 3:16; Romans 10:9-10, 13)

We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through Repentance by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross, appropriating salvation. (1 John 1:9)

We believe Sanctification is the ongoing process of yielding to God’s Word and His Spirit in order to complete the development of Christ’s character in us. (1 Thess 5:23; Rom 12:1-2)

We believe in the Second Coming of Christ; that He shall come from heaven to earth, personally, bodily, visibly to establish His Kingdom. (Acts 1:11; Matt 24:30)

We believe Hell is a place of endless separation from God, prepared for the Devil and his angels. Those who have rejected God will also be judged and eternally tormented there. (Matt 25:41; Heb 10:26-27)

We believe the Holy Spirit is manifested through a variety of Spiritual Gifts, as He wills, to build and sanctify the church, demonstrate the validity of the Resurrection, and confirm the power of the Gospel. (1 Cor 12; Rom 12:4-8)
We believe in vibrant and joyous expression in Worship; this includes praising God with musical instruments, in the dance, and with uplifted hands and voice. (Psalms 150:3-6)
We believe in the 3 Ordinances of the Church:

1. WATER BAPTISM symbolizing rebirth in Christ after one has received salvation. (Matt 28:19; Rom 6:3-4)

2. COMMUNION taken to remember Christ’s death and suffering for the benefit and in the place of His people. (1 Cor 11:23-26)

3. FEET WASHING because Christ, by His example, showed that humility characterized greatness in the Kingdom of God, and that service, rendered to others gave evidence that humility, motivated by love, exists. (John 13:12-17)
